Here is a very short mpg clip of a movie playing on our screen.

Also, the laptops we got happen to be running Windows XP, but an investor in Pixel Qi has already bought an Acer Aspire One and installed Ubuntu 9.04 on it. We will plug in our screen shortly (we are SID and Computex this week and so this might take a week). We will update here.

Before the clip… ‘Omg… Omg.. Omg… Omg…’, after the clip… ‘hmmm… what about with the back light off?’. Color is cool (with the power reduction and all), but the true selling point of this display, is the eInk functionality.

I hope to clarify, I know that your device does not use electrophoeretic… I say ‘eInk functionality’ because the purpose of the ereader mode is provide a strainless view of text items.
